Bonny Doon: Syrah Cuvee
Conceptual wine label design for Bonny Doon Winery. This particular design was done for their Syrah Cuvee. I wanted to illustrate the flowery aromatic scent of this wine in an abstract way. I also wanted to target both women and men with this label and give the floral and berry composed wine some masculinity as well to capture both markets.
When is a Pousseur not a Pousseur? When it is Splendide! What is this mysterious red blend which signifies itself with this redolent name? Cuvée Splendide is our limited edition Syrah crafted especially for our wine club members. While it is similar in origin to our fabled Syrah Le Pousseur (which rocks in every vintage but the 06 is truly a marvel), this red exhibits splendid floral nuances uncommon in New World Syrah. A bit of Grenache adds a lovely raspberry note to the deeper black Syrah fruit.
