  • This is not a series of photographs that should be looked at as such.
    It is merely an inspiration board of typography I find around San Francisco.
    The examples of typography below come from one source only, the absolute need
    for lettering and signage without an emphasis on aesthetics.  I try to find examples that looked to have been constructed by the shop owners and employees themselves, lacking an influence of design and motivated only by the necessity of information. This set will be updated often and will continue to grow.
